Week 9 | SOCO Lashes Primer
As promised, here we are in the nest week’s email, and we are diving into SOCO Lashed PRIMER!! What is SOCO Lashes Primer> How does it work? And why SOCO?
A lash Primer isn’t anything new to the beauty industry. It’s often used in many aspects of… well, everything. Gel polish, make-up, even paint on your home. But what specifically is ‘Lash Primer” and what makes SOCO Lashes your go-to for your Primer when it comes to your client’s retention?
The basics of primers are similar to sealers, but it works on a more ‘surface’ level, so to speak. When I say, ‘surface level,’ I’m referring to the surface that it comes into contact with. Similarly to sealer, it’s a liquid that dries adhesive. BUT instead of a liquid that aids in curing, it’s the microscopic residue that’s left on the lateral lash once the Primer evaporates is the secret sauce here. Because it’s such a small, miniscule amount of actual product, its job is to ‘dry on contact, as opposed to seeping into the adhesive, like a sealer does.
Again, not all Lash Primers are created and designed at the top of the luxury lash food chain, but when you buy from SOCO Lashes you know you’re getting the best quality available. In sampling around 25 or so primers when we were creating our formula, it was easy to see how different each formula is, and how wildly different the results were. Does this mean that another brand sells a Primer that is a lesser quality than we do? Not necessarily, but we are constantly upgrading our formulas to be SURE that you’re always getting the most updated, top of the line, innovation with every lash product that we carry.
Lash Primers were originally created from two types of clients: Those with ‘slippery lashes’ or lashes that just don’t seems to ‘grab those lash extensions,’ and clients who just seem to have bad retention no matter what you do. It’s also a second cleanser and is fabulous at removing any microscopic proteins that are left on the lash line that your cleanser left behind that tend to disrupt retention.
At SOCO Lashes, we call out Primer and Sealer ‘Insurance Policies’ because they won’t hurt to use, but they WILL increase your retention if anything. They are especially great to use when you’ve got a new client whose lash line you aren’t familiar with!
If you’d like to experience the SOCO Lashes different with our Primer and Sealer, head to SOCOLASHES.com and don’t forget to add your Primer and Sealer Application Brushes! They aid in proper application of each product and are definitely worth every penny!
