How to Balance Lash and Home Life
If You're Reading This... You're Probably Serious & Passionate About Lashing
We've all been there- spending hours upon hours outside the studio or salon thinking, planning, and working on things for your business. Then we scratch the idea, not caring about all the time put into it, just to start over it.
Before you know it, you’re spending almost every waking minute on or in your business.
What even is the difference between "on your business" and "in your business"?
You work IN your business by offering services, generating income. You work ON your business by growing your brand to generate more income in the long run. Whenever you work IN your business, you're basically giving up time for money. When you're working ON your business, you're adding value to your brand, so it generates income in the future. Business owners work ON their business with hope to not have to trade their time for money anymore in the future when they expand. But if you spend 40 hours a week working IN your business, how do you work ON your business too?
And furthermore, how do you even have a life outside of your business?
Here Are 3 Tips to Balance
On Your Business v.s. In Your Business v.s. Your Home Life
- Dedicate days off where you’re actually 100% off - which means no quick calls, no work emails or messages, no chores, a whole 24 hours to yourself
- Dedicate days where you're working on your business only .. which means no clients! Batch your content, pre-plan your finances, order inventory, etc.
- Take lashing days seriously. Get a lot of sleep, eat breakfast, and give your clients 110% no matter what. Imagine this, if you can pay ALL your bills with only 3 days of client services, you have more than half the week left to work on your business and enjoy your home life.
